SOTAS Membership Details

RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP 2012

Subscriptions are due on 1 January each year and a current membership card must be obtained before fishing. Cards can be obtained at monthly meetings or by post from the Membership Secretary with SAE{75p} and FRONT COVER FROM old  card.  Disabled Member cards can only be renewed with proof of disability.

Juvenile Member converting to Senior Member will be allowed to renew membership at a concessionary subscription (£30 in 2012) for each of the 2 years immediately following their 16th birthday on condition that evidence is produced of being in full time education. Please note that a student card is not sufficient evidence.

All members are encouraged to renew before 1st March otherwise membership cannot be guaranteed.

APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
A person wishing to be considered for membership must apply either by letter or application form.

Applications must be sent to the Membership Secretary, with SAE, for consideration by the members at a monthly meeting.  If accepted, the applicant will be offered membership.

Under no circumstances will a telephoned application be accepted.

OTHER INFORMATION
1. There are no Entrance Fees in 2012.
2. A member wishing to fish for the Society in the National Championship should give Name, Address and Card Number to the Match Secretary by 1st March.  Under AT rules this will commit the member to our Society; he/she will not be eligible to represent any other organisation.
3. A charge of £3 will be made to replace this Card if it is lost, damaged or stolen.
4. Presentation Night, 8.30pm, 10th May at Headquarters; i.e. immediately following a short monthly meeting.
5. The KEN HANCOCK TROPHY, with 1 year free membership, is awarded annually to a member who has given outstanding service to the Society.
6. Please report all pollution incidents to the      EA Emergency Hotline, 0800 80 70 60.
7. A NON-FISHING GUEST PERMIT is available at a cost of £10 for 2012 for a named guest.
